Gilas Pilipinas lost, but played well - says coach Chot

 

Gilas Pilipinas lost their last game against the New Zealand national team, nicknamed the 'Tall blacks', 76 - 77. In a text message to interAKTV, coach chot Reyes said that a late questionable call by one of the game officials with only four seconds left on the game clock could have put the game to overtime.

Lost to NZ natl team,76-77. Tall Blacks have only been practicing for 3 days & missing a couple guys. But we played well,esp @DouthitMarcus

The team will fly back to the Manila tomorrow to continue the final phase of their praparation for the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship. Part of it are two more tune-up games against a PBA-selection team on July 23 and then the Kazakhstan national team on July 26.
